BIKE TRACK DAYS (TD/BIKE) - Price from £125.00

Castle Combe Circuit Bike Track Days are days when you can ride your motorbike as the designers intended it to be ridden, legally! The day starts with a detailed safety briefing, after which you will be taken on a session of sighting laps, following one of our instructors. The day runs from 9am-5pm, there is a lunch break from 12:30-1:30pm. All riders will need to be at the circuit for 8am, to complete the on day administration, sound check and attend the compulsory safety briefing. There is a maximum of 12 motorcycles permitted on the circuit at any time. Bike track days are open to all riders with a full licence and machines of 250cc and over. Bikes must be fitted with their original factory fitted silencer. We try to discourage competition machines, due to the strict sound regulations in place for the track days. Riders need to have a full face helmet, and either one or two piece leathers. If they are two piece, then these must zip together either fully or partially. Boots and gloves must be of leather construction and carry no metal studs. It is strongly recommended that additional back protectors be worn whilst on the circuit. The noise limit for the day is 105 db(A), which is measured at ½ metre from the exhaust outlet at ¾ maximum revs. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that their machine is within this limit. All machines are sound tested prior to going out on the circuit. In the event of a machine failing the sound check, then the rider will be entitled to a 75% refund. If you are unsure if your bike will get through the noise test (i.e. if it is fitted with an after market exhaust system), then you can always come over to get the bike noise tested prior to booking a place. If you haven’t been on a track day before, let us know when you book your place and you will be sent detailed step by step instructions, so you will know what to do when you arrive. Everyone has to start somewhere and we will assure you of a friendly welcome, we will provide you with an extra briefing and, subject to numbers, group you in a separate session. During your first session, you will follow one of our instructors for a series of sighting laps, and will be shown the correct lines, braking and turn in points, to use on the day. The instructors are available all day to give assistance if required.

Availability - Bike Track Days are run on weekdays throughout the year, normally Wednesday's from March through to October

Duration - This is a full day activity, 9am - 5pm

Numbers - Maximium of 12 riders on track on any time

Clothing Required - Leather's must be worn, either one piece or two price which can be zipped together

Spectator Information - Spectator's are welcome.

Meal Arrangements - Cafe facilities are available throughout the day

Weather Restrictions - Whilst we hope that your day will be dry, we are an outdood location and it does rain. We do continue in the wet and regret that refunds cannot be made in the event of poor weather conditions.
