DRIVING EXPERIENCE (S/SLN) - Price from £99.00

• Briefing • 3x Passenger Instruction laps in Ford Fiesta Zetec S • 5 x Driving Analysis laps in Ford Fiesta Zetec S • 2 x High Speed Passenger laps in Ford Focus ST2 • Debriefing Experience the thrill of going track side with this excellent taster course. This driving experience will give you a taste for the circuit and will leave you wanting more. Your experience starts with a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to your instructor. Your instructor will then drive you around the circuit in the Ford Fiesta Zetec S, demonstrating how best to handle the track. Now it is your turn, you will take over the driving seat and proceed to drive the Ford Fiesta Zetec S around the track, experiencing the thrill of driving on a race car circuit. Once you have completed your 5 driving analysis laps, it is time to experience the true colours of the Ford Focus ST2 as driven by your instructors. Time to hold on and enjoy the ride! Once you have got your legs back, it is back to the Strawford Centre for your debriefing. This is when you find out how you have really done at your driving experience, you will be presented with a certificate and assessment sheet showing you your score. Driving Experiences can either be bought for a specific date or as an open voucher. All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and come in an attractive Gift Pack

Availability - We operate throughout the year, usually on Fridays or Saturdays. Click on book a date to check our availability.

Duration - Your course will last for approximately 2 hours

Restrictions - All participants must hold a valid full driver's licence and be over the age of 17. You must be of a height between 5'1" and 6'8" and of a maximum weight of 20 stone.

Clothing Required - We recommend: Trousers, Long sleved top, and flat shoes. Warm clothing and a jacket are also recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather as this is an outdoor activity.

Spectator Information - Spectators are welcome, however please be aware that they will not be able to join you on the circuit.

Meal Arrangements - Cafe facilities are available on-site serving hot food throughout the day.

Weather Restrictions - Although we like to complain about the British climate, in many years of operation we have only had to cancel just a couple of days. As Formula One continues in the rain, so do we, although safety is always paramount.

Other Information - At Castle Combe Racing School you will be in safe hands. Our instructors are chosen from the best, all have to undergo a training programme through ARDS, the Association of Racing Drivers Schools and are all licenced annually.
They include several current or recent champions selected from the very successful Castle Combe Circuit one track championships for Formula Fords, Saloons and GT Cars.
