• Briefing • 3 x Passenger Instruction laps in Ford Focus ST2 • 4 x Driving Analysis laps in Ford Focus ST2 • 2 x Passenger Instruction lap in Lotus Elise • 5 x Driving Analysis laps in Lotus Elise • Debriefing Experience the adrenalin fused thrill of driving performance cars around a race car circuit with our driving experience advanced course. Your driving session begins with a detailed briefing. This course covers all the aspects of safety and explains the secrets of racing lines, turn in points and apexes. Then it's time for some practical tuition. First passenger instruction laps in Ford Focus ST2 followed by driving analysis laps. Then you move up to Lotus Elise, again demonstration laps before you take the wheel. The Driving Experience Advanced course provides a great taster and gives good track time and genuine instruction. Then it's back into the briefing area for your debrief to collect your certificate presentation and driving assessment sheet. Driving Experiences can either be bought for a specific date or as an open voucher. All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and come in an attractive Gift Pack

Availability - We operate throughout the year, usually on Fridays or Saturdays.

Duration - Your course will last for approximately 3 hours

Restrictions - All participants must hold a valid full driver's licence and be over the age of 17. You must be of a height between 5'1" and 6'2" and of a maximum weight of 16 stone.

Clothing Required - We recommend: Trousers, Long sleved top, and flat shoes. Warm clothing and a jacket are also recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather as this is an outdoor activity.

Spectator Information - Spectators are welcome, however please be aware that they will not be able to join you on the circuit.

Meal Arrangements - Cafe facilities are available on-site serving hot food throughout the day.

Weather Restrictions - Although we like to complain about the British climate, in many years of operation we have only had to cancel just a couple of days. As Formula One continues in the rain, so do we, although safety is always paramount.

Other Information - At Castle Combe Racing School you will be in safe hands. Our instructors are chosen from the best, all have to undergo a training programme through ARDS, the Association of Racing Drivers Schools and are all licenced annually.
They include several current or recent champions selected from the very successful Castle Combe Circuit one track championships for Formula Fords, Saloons and GT Cars.
